It's about time.

"This is a great reissue of Willie's 1971 RCA concept album, digitally remastered, with excellent liner notes, recording dates, sessionography, and orginal artwork. Producer Felton Jarvis defeated RCA's 10 track limit for the album by creating two medleys in order to include all 12 songs. Far ahead of its time, the album opens with a conversation between God and a soul preparing for birth. An Editor's Note in the original artwork states that all the songs except 'Family Bible' were written by Willie Nelson. The editor had apparently not heard the story about Willie selling that song in a bar for fifty bucks. The album, largely ignored by the music idustry and consumers when released, is now widely regarded as a masterpiece. It is an essential album for Willie Nelson collectors and fans."

"One of Willie's most underated album. Great songs all the way through it. Family bible, Me and Paul and Yesterdays Wine are some of Willie's best. If you liked Shotgun Willie, Phases and Stages and Red headed you'll love this one too."
