A More Grown Up Album for the Willowz

"So let me start by saying the Willowz are not for everyone. They are a garage rock band who don't have an amazing lead guitar player, and the lead singer's voice does kind of have a nasal quality to it. It is what it is. This band is a good strong representation of an amatuer band that is catchy and appealing. In a sense they are like Neil Young's band, Crazy Horse. They may never wow you, but their music is strong dirty garage rock (notice I am not saying the Willowz sound like Crazy Horse because they don't). With all that being said if you like the Willowz buy this album. It is a more mature outing for the band and shows more depth to their writing and musical stylings. When I say it is more mature, I mean it is more mature for this band. The album is not some progressive rock masterpiece. It is just a steamy bowl of rock and roll. If this is your introduction to the Willowz, buy one of their earlier albums. If you know the Willowz, don't hesitiate. It is definatly a strong outing for the band."
