The CD opens with a musical "conversation" between 2 vocalists over the insecurity that the WTC and natural events have caused. From there topical songs range from an ode to immigrants and a tribute to John Paul II to aural frolic such as Brass Band - a light hearted lament on day to day life - "Where is the big brass band to greet me when I get home". Articulate lyrics are laid on a backbone of Rock that ranges from danceable to outright mellow. There are a couple of songs that a wise man would call country (aahh- but a wise man would call a lot of country rock). Snapshot in My Mind is undoubtedly the most poignant begging the question; would you stop time if you could.
