"For melodic rock see for example, Asia and Boston, for bombastic rock see for example, Queen and Meat Loaf.



I rather like this CD, Asia and Boston have much in common both being from the 1980s and being well suited to stadium rock along with another great band, Kansas.



From Asia I enjoy Heat Of The Moment, a very good opener and then track 3, Without You, which follows in a similar vein.

Perhaps not the deepest lyrics ever written, however sung with power and conviction.



From Boston I find Amanda a weak track, it's rather predictable and cliched.

However We're Ready and I Need Your Love easily make up for that and Livi' For You is pretty good too.



Both bands seem to be enjoying their music and so do I."

This is one weird idea for a cd!

"This cd contains 5 songs from ASIA and 5 songs from BOSTON
which have been taken all over the place without(it would seem)much logic.
While i love those two groups alot,i find this selection of
songs relatively unsatisfying or incomplete.
Forget about this cd and buy a full cd of each of those two
groups instead,it s worth the extra money!"
