Inspired in part by the writings of the Orkney Island poet, George Mackay Brown, the music of Winterfold takes listeners on a journey from the last flower of Fall through Winter towards the promise of Spring. The instrumental soundtrack features the popular collaboration between American/Irish duo Jeff Johnson (keys, percussion & voice) and Brian Dunning (flutes, pennywhistles & accordion) joined by violinist, Wendy Goodwin. Joining the contemporary Celtic trio are Tim Ellis (guitars), Phil Baker (bass) & Mike Snyder (percussion).
