A Moving Piece...even if you don't know German

"A change of pace for master trance DJ Paul van Dyk, this very good song finds him pairing his skills with German singer Peter Heppner on what essentially amounts to a somewhat downtempo, but thoroughly inspiring journey through the trials and tribulations that Germany's citizens have confronted and overcome during the last 60 years.
Granted, as a non-German speaker, it took a full translation of the lyric for me to completely grasp its message of survival. But the included video (which can be watched for free at Viva.tv -- Germany's better answer to MTV) does much to convey the general idea of what is being communicated. As it contains a vast array of newsreel footage ranging from the Berlin Airlift and the erection of the Berlin wall to the fall of said wall and the reunification of that arguably self-immolated nation.
In any case, the song is well worth a listen or fifty if you like van Dyk. And the video...well...it's perhaps the best music video I have ever seen; as it's nothing less than a very short, historical film."
