CD ReviewsSimply superb, sounds and styles from multiple genres 08/07/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Wireworlds "Love and Technology" is simply superb. Where did this come from? Where has it been? Who cares-it's here! Haters of Top 40 will love this collection of true-blue creativity. It's great music that can't really be catagorized because it's all over the road. WireWorld employs a multitude of guitar styles and sounds. If you've heard it, it's on this CD. Everything that can be produced by electronics/synthesizers/mixers/instruments is utilized to fill each song with depth and pleasure. You hear a rift, a harmony, a solo, a beat and think "genius." (Genesis, Tom Petty, Psychodelic Furs, FM, Billy Joel comes to mind) You really get your money's worth-ballads, pop, rock, techno... Many songs get established and then WOW- is this a new song? But it all fits so nicely as one song. (almost 2 for the price of 1) And lyrics that actually say something. Makes you wonder "what does that mean?" If you want to think, read the lyrics. Allen Wentz has assembled a good supporting cast to carry out his quest to make his songs and arrangements burst on the scene. You gotta wear headphones for this one to get the full effect of these creative juices. I give it a 5 out of 5." Wireworld 11/30/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "This CD is now one of my favorites (along with Paul Rogers). Even my kids ask to listen to it. It's reminiscent of Electric Light Orchestra, Steeley Dan and the Beatles. A pure pleasurable listening experience!" Really lovely 09/05/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "Excellent. I'm sure its not everyones cup of tea, but if you like your music to be somewhat thought provoking and mature sounding you will very much enjoy this record. This band has a great sound."
