If you were hoping for that unmistakable WA sound from the early 70s.....forget it...What we have here is more of a journey to new audio frontiers..exploring more current musical trends and techniques..What made the band great was their ability to utilize analog equipment and tube amplifiers to achieve uniqueness..Same original lineup....completely different sound...That's it in a nutshell. It's hard not to like these guys....when you sit back and remember all the classic tunes they created together. I purchased both cd's....being the completist that I am....and I dont regret it a bit." |
