CD Reviews

Sountrack for the Apocalypse!!!
Keith E. Jones | Alabama | 01/26/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am a fan of "Golgotha" and when I first saw this I was like, "i hope it's as good as the first one"...whoa!!!! It is WAYYYYY better!!!!!!!! I envy Dean Atkinson on some of his growls...AMAZING! Every song has bible verses that the song was taken from, mostly Revelations....the end of the world is coming soon, and this is the soundtrack!"
Brutal, but....
Francisco L. Sauceda | Houston, TX | 01/29/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"i've been anticipating this release since i caught word of when it was actually coming out. i even previewed the track "lash by lash" on their myspace page and was pretty blown away. it seemed that they had gotten "heavier" with this release... and, they had. but, the formula hasn't really changed much from golgotha. brutal riffs, brutal breakdowns, brutal vocals! i just wish that they would steer clear of the monotonous single note breakdowns more often and hide them a little better."
MOst hooks ever in a death album
L. Black | On my way to Heaven | 03/09/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Great piece of work here. The one note break downs are the only negative in my opinion but they sort of go along with the feel of the record once you hear it a couple of times. I have never had an album of this type stick in my head like horror does. The refrains and choruses (if you wanna call them that) are all about the hook. After listening through it once, I couldn't wait to start the whole thing over again.

This is not a "groudbreaking" change for the genre but it is very well done and has numerous parts that had me saying "what was that lyric and why can't I get that part out of my head?"

People look at you funny when you walk around singing stuff like this but I can't help myself. It's really good."
