CD Reviews

One word to describe this album: amazing.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Now if you are familiar with Kenny Choi you would know that he is the front man of indie rock band Daphne Loves Derby. If you are a fan of Choi's previous work you are going to fall in love with this album. The song writing has advanced to new levels and the music as a whole has developed into a beautiful force to be reckoned with. Even if you aren't a fan of Choi's previous work I think you can find many things you will love about Wolftron. It could be the soothing vocals, great melodies, or just the overall flowing beauty of the album. At times the album makes you wonder how he makes the sounds so deep but still catchy enough that you will be singing them to yourself thinking about your significant other. It's funny to say that Wolftron fills in all the holes that were on the last DLD record but that is the truth. There isn't one bad thing that I can say about this record. Now there isn't anything outstanding on here that will make you say wow, this guy is going down in history. But there is sure enough here for you to say wow, this is a amazingly beautiful record, that even after many plays you can still find new things that show the elegance of this simple but stunning record.

As Choi sings in Crystal Skulls "Did you ever find the love that you were searching for? No Kenny I'm not sure that I have, but I have found the record I have been searching for and I couldn't be happier.
