"The staples in my car used to include Radiohead, Spiritualized, etc. Now that I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old, it's kids' music most of the time. That said, I really love this CD, as do my kids. We adore the show, and the producers of this CD did a really good job of picking the best songs and editing them well. Now when my 2 1/2 year old requests something other than the Wonder Pets, which she rarely does, I am disappointed! It's very musical theater-esque, actually, which is why the songs are so darn catchy. Even my 1 year old lights up when he hears certain songs on the CD, e.g., "Sheep-eee-hoo." I know there are lots of "kids" compilations out there by alternative artists, but come on, do your kids really like them? Do you really like them? This is fun, catchy, and it keeps the kids happy in the car. What more could you ask for? I mean, it would be nice if my kids requested "O.K. Computer," but I'm not holding out hope."
Great selection!

"I bought this CD because my one year old is obsessed with the show, she really only pays attention to the songs. The CD includes a great selections of songs from the show. I noticed that the voice of "Ming Ming" (the duckling) seems to get drowned out by the music. Overall good CD, I definately recommend this if you would rather your child not be glued to the TV."

"If your toddler loves the wonderpets show, they will love this CD. My two year old can't get enough of it- and it's adorable to listen to as well. I like that we can play it in the car and remember all the great shows as we sing along with Ming Ming (our personal favorite!). I can get my daughter in the car without complaints if I mention 'wonderpets music?'! Wonderpets- we love you!"
Great Music From the Show

"Anyone who watches this show knows the songs are short, but they managed to put together a decent-length CD...they edit several songs together from the same episode. For example, "Oh Sheep-eee-hooo" is several pieces from the sheep episode. The producers did an excellent job putting this together, and the songs are easy for toddlers to sing to. They covered a fair amount of epidoes with this CD.
One parent addressed the issue of Ming-Ming's speech impediment...I'm sure the show was trying to be endearing, but rather than view it as a negative, I prefer to think of it as a way to show children that not everyone is perfect, and there's nothing wrong with being different.
(I've worked with students who have speech impediments, and it wasn't because of something they saw on TV.)"

"I leave this CD in the car. When I play it and look at the rear view mirror, all I see is a huge smile on my 15 month old son's face. Seeing a smiles and giggles make traffic not bad at all. Mommy's favorites are Tickle the whale and the Hermit crab from Mexico."
