"This is some serious retro-active experience that showcases the immense talents of this band. I knew Ed Wool in the Eighties when I was in a band called the Rockmen with him, and I was aware of the talent he possessed then;he can play just about every instrument. He taught me some drum parts and was a invaluable musical resource. Still is.
That was before I heard Delay 68's release of the Wool album. I was totally awakened to a new side of his talent--the origins of the person I know now. The album has a raw edgy feeling inherent of the music of the late 60s. It's not a bunch of lucky local wannabes with a record deal trying to sound like the music of the era; it IS the music of the era, just as Janis Joplin is, or Jefferson Airplane is.
Thank you to Delay 68 for realizing the difference and making the music available for fans of the band and that genre of music.

Good to hear it again.

"It nice to know that this album is available again. Ed is a great guitarist, as can still be herd by going to his ED Wool Band website. Claudia could sing with the best of them, and Pete the drummer was a natural musician if there ever was one. People should pick this one up. I know I will.

"Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus and he has finally re-delivered this priceless gem from one of the most outstanding Northeast regional bands of the sixties and early seventies. Ed Wool was a premier act in the northeast for many years hailing from the Watertown NY area. Ed was and still is known as a guitar virtuoso and his hallmark was discipline and perfection in his musicical renderings. This album long out of print is finally available again so we can revisit his wonderful rock and funk renderings. His sister Claudia, an outstanding vocalist provided much of the background vocals and the album was produced by Neil Diamond so you know how outstanding Wool was and how outstanding the sounds are. This is an absolute for any collector of music from this era!"
