WORLD PORT: World Instrumental Music The Emmy Award winning instrumental music on this moving debut recording of Paul Micich and Mitch Espe finds its roots in the grasslands of the midwest, but travels to prairies and cultures around the world for the inspiration to create these landscapes of original music and performances of great heart. World Port gets its inspiration from international styles and rhythms and uses jazz form and improvisation. The Prairies CD reflects Celtic, Andean, Regae, New Age and New Flamenco styles. Music from WORLD PORT's Prairies CD received an Emmy for being part of a Public Television nature-scene and music video called "The Four Seasons".
