Not bad, but a disappointment nonetheless

"Young MC set a pretty high standard with his debut album, Stone Cold Rhymin', so it isn't too much of a surprise that this wasn't as good. There are a lot of really good songs here, with "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" and "That's the Way Love Goes" being the best. The only problem is that these tracks are offset by a lot of mediocre tracks: "After School" tries to combine the lightheartedness of "Principal's Office" with the seriousness of "Just Say No," but never really accomplishes it. "Use Your Head" is pretty bad. "Life in the Fast Lane," "Inside My Head," and "Listen to the Beat of the Music" are all good, but each one of them is so long that it's hard to listen to them over and over again. Fans should enjoy the album because it sounds similar to Stone Cold Rhymin', but for the rest I would say that his next album, What's the Flavor? is a lot better."
