What is the reason for falling in love?

"Hey, almost every East Coast band with an organ in it had to do a cover of "More" during the mid-Sixties. Dad paid for the accordion lessons & Mom made sure you practiced & they definitely showed up for the first set once in awhile. The girls liked the song, too, so here you get little Eddie singing his heart out right through the "One More Time" at the end.
This is nearly a live album. Minimal overdubbing, filled out with soul covers, a party album. It has two classic Rascals songs, "Lonely Too Long" & "Come On Up," & opens up with a classic question from the lyrical age of doo wop: "What is the Reason (for falling in love)". I'll be damned if I know - even the immortal Monotones couldn't answer that one - they didn't even know who wrote the "Book of Love."
Fools do fall in love with "Collections" & I'm one of those fools. It's Saturday night at The Barge. The Rascals are tearing up the joint with the music on this here album. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky.

"The pictures on the cover tell all you need to know about these guys. Just four hard-working, soul-searching rock and rollers who love to sweat it out for their music. They are the real deal, my fellow music-lovers and if you missed them way back in the sixties here's your chance to relive one of the best. If you don't believe me just sample "Mickey's Monkey/Love Lights" and you'll be dancing uncontrollably to Dino's infectious and powerful drumming and Felix's growling, screaming Hammond Organ. And vocals? Get outta here. They don't make 'em like this any more."
