"Having had the pleasure of living in Louisiana and seeing Zachary perform live I always cherish any new album he records. With that said, Last Kiss is his best effort ever and that says a lot. No one captures the Cajun culture in song better. He sings with such clarity and emotion that you want to help him and his people more and more. The Levee Broke evokes the heartbreak of Katrina and the inadequate government response with a soaring gospel chorus. The Ballad of C.C. Boudreaux pays tribute to an aging Cajun fisherman with a depth of admiration and respect that grips you as you listen. Someday shows the despair and hope that carries his people on. When Celine Dion shows up on the last song you can't help but feel that the honor is hers to sing with someone as heartfelt as Zachary. For all listeners who are fed up with the detachment and distance in so much popular music today, I urge you to listen to Last Kiss and remember how great it is to hear a singer who can put so much feeling and heart into his work."
Zachary's best release yet!

"Last Kiss is Zachary Richard's finest Cd yet. From the beautiful ballad-rocker and title cut "Last Kiss" to the swampy south louisiana blues of "Some Day", nobody writes songs like Zachary Richard."
Danse is terrific.

"I heard the song DANSE on RadioMargaritaville & just had to have it. I downloaded on Amazon.com. It's a great song. Now, I'm seriously thinking about buying the entire cd "Last Kiss" on Amazon."

"I can't ever remember purchsing an album and loving every single song. Ever. I do not enjoy commercial radio. Listening to over played music - good or bad - is annoying and personally I think it cheapens the work. I am forever on the search of music that comes from true artists, not sell outs or those looking for only fame and fortune. Not that I would deny anyone that, but for me I like music that comes from the heart and soul. Finding Zachary Richard was like discovering a diamond in the dust. Last Kiss is a wonderful piece of work plain and simple. I love his lyrics, his arrangements, the feeling he has presented and the way it makes me feel. If I had to pick a favorite it'd be the Levee Broke, I'm a sucker for added choirs.
If you like Americana, Cajun, Folk or Country Mr. Richard will not let you down. A true artist speaking from the heart with compassion and wonderful story telling skills. I look forward to purchasing his other albums and am excited to have Last Kiss in my music library."
