"Alfie is playful and does a wonderful job in his renditions of some old favorites. His own songs are fabulous. A CD not to be missed."

"I anticipated this album very much as I am a great Alfie Zappacosta fan. It did not disappoint but I was suprised by the style change since "Quick... Don't Ask any Questions" which had more rocking tunes compared to this one. "Innocence Ballet" has 2 instumental tunes with the fantastic keyboard work of Marco Luciani and the amazing guitar and voice of Alfie. Having seen Alfie in person 3 times with his 3 piece band I know that the music holds up even outside the studio. A nicer bunch of guys you couldn't hope to meet. No prima-donnas in this group. Alfie, Marco, Etric and Chris put their hearts into the performance. The only cover song, on any of his albums, Alfie does is "Me and Mrs. Jones" . You can picture every word as he sings it and feel the emotion of a clandestine affair. A reworking of "When I Fall in Love Again" was a surprise as I liked the old version, but now I am used to it and enjoy either one. "Orlanda" is nifty tune about a woman whose taste is too rich for her lover. So he's gotta let her go. "Show Me" is a sultry tune about a woman who verbalizes her fantasies and her lover wants a demonstation. Basically, I enjoy every tune on this CD. But I guess I am biased as he could sing the phone book and I would like it. But you couldn't ask for a nicer guy and a man who is dedicated to his music while have a sense of humour with others and himself. I recommend all Alfie's albums which are... "Zappacosta" "A-Z" -note-The two above albums were combined to be the CD "Over 60 Minutes with Zappacosta" "Quick... Don't Ask Any Questions" He's got new tunes in the works that I have heard him sing in person so be on the look-out for some more great tunes."
