Perrine | 04/19/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Zoot played with a lot of great rhythm sections; but if he felt like playing all he needed was one highly sympathetic 7-string guitarist. His swing was irrepressible and he really knew how to caress a melody and how to titillate a saxophone. His improvisations can be exuberent, sly, tender, or wistful, but always with great melodic construction. Recorded live in 1960."
