"I think this vinyl LP was originally released in 1955 or '56. Five cuts feature 3 saxes all manned by Zoot Sims, through the relatively new (then) miracle of overdubbing. The way he put the 3 parts together for a great sax trio sound was quite inventive and very pleasing. The arrangements are very well done, the rhythm section top notch and Zoot is at his swingin' best. If I had to recommend only one Zoot Sims album to the uninitiated, this would be it - although so much would be left on the table!

This album was re-issued on CD in a 2 for 1 repackage by GRP called "That Old Feeling". Included was another very tasty small group album done about the same time, creating one 14 cut CD. That release is probably out of print, but the excellent Quadromania series would give you those 14 cuts on CD #4, plus 3 other CD's full of early Zoot Sims' recordings, some of which are quite rare."
