Help Center - I received an empty wrapper--no CD inside!

If this is the wrapper for a CD you requested, you should not mark the CD received, since you did not get the CD.  You should contact the sender to let him or her know what happened.  

  • If you think that the wrapping method may have contributed to the loss of the CD, please do give (gentle/constructive) feedback to the sender; you can refer to What are the requirements for posting a CD? if you like. 

  • If you have marked the CD received by mistake, you can also discuss this with the sender, who will have gotten credit when you did that.

If you have not marked the CD received yet, do not do so.  You will continue to get the usual auto-emails from SwapaCD asking if the CD has arrived; open and read the emails, and follow any instructions within. 

If the CD hasn't arrived by the 21st day after it was marked mailed, then SwapaCD will declare it Lost in the Mail and you will get your credit back.  If the CD does arrive after that, you should mark it received from your Transaction Archive.
